Workflow Analysis
See exactly how work moves through your business.
A structured look at how a request, order or task actually travels through your company — every step, handoff and wait — so bottlenecks become visible and fixable.
01 / Who it is for
Is this you?
Owners and managers who sense work is slower than it should be but cannot point at where it stalls. Most clients have between three and fifty people, and at least one process that lives entirely in someone’s head.
The problems it solves
- Tasks are handed off by memory or chat message, and things get lost between people.
- The same questions come up every week because there is no agreed way of doing the work.
- Orders, invoices or requests sit waiting on one specific person — and stop when they are away.
- Nobody can draw the path from “a customer asks” to “the job is done” on one page.
02 / What we do
The work, step by step.
-
01
Interview the people who actually do the work — usually 30 to 45 minutes each.
-
02
Follow real cases from start to finish instead of relying on how the process is supposed to work.
-
03
Map every step, decision, handoff and waiting point, with the time each stage takes.
-
04
Mark duplicated, dead and unnecessary steps, and rank every bottleneck by what it costs you.
03 / Deliverables
What you receive, in writing.
- Current-state workflow maps — one clear page per process, readable by anyone in the company
- A written findings report in plain English
- A bottleneck list ranked by cost, split into quick wins and structural fixes
- A closing walkthrough call so your team can question every conclusion
Do you need access to our software systems?
Usually not. Screen recordings, screenshots and a shared walkthrough of the tools you use are enough for mapping. If direct access ever helps, we agree the scope in writing, work read-only, and sign your confidentiality agreement first.
How much time will you need from my team?
Plan for one interview of 30 to 45 minutes per person involved in a process, plus a short walkthrough of a real case. We schedule around your working hours, including early morning and evening slots.
What does a finished workflow map look like?
A single page per process: steps in order, decision points, who owns each step, and how long work waits between them. No specialist notation — anyone in your company can read it without training.
